Without question, the biggest story going in to the New Hampshire primary has been the statement by frontrunner Mitt Romney that he likes being able to fire people (who are providing a service to him).
This is the sort of thing cable news has a field day with and depending on which networks you watch, you either saw the story as the machinations of a sinister penny pincher, or an out of context quote which was so out of context no one remembers the original context. Let’s all be grateful Fox News are perennial defenders of context.
Also, regardless of which network you were watching, you would have seen the world’s bravest three year old girl….
