Florida GOP Rep. Vern Buchanan said the FEC ‘exonerated’ him from any wrongdoing over charges he had his former car dealership reimburse employees for donations made to his campaign.

Turns out that’s not really the case. A report obtained by TPM suggests that far from clearing him, the FEC thinks Buchanan’s explanation “does not seem credible.”
