It’s not clear what’s up yet. But an impromptu all-staff meeting has just been called at the Washington Times. The meeting was called at 2:48 PM by Publisher Jonathan Slevin for 3:30 PM. So pretty short notice and a lot of questions in the building about what’s up at the beleaguered paper.
A newsroom source tells TPM the meeting “is a complete surprise.”
“Nobody has hinted at anything bad and the top guys have been talking as though we have a long term to plan for. A meeting with one hour notification is not good,” the source said.
