I can’t let this go without comment.
I teach performance art at an art school, and I can tell you it has absolutely nothing in common with Newt Gingrich’s hypocrisy and never has.
How did my discipline become shorthand for you? And what exactly does the headline mean anyway?
Can you name one actual performance artist who trades in such public turnarounds?
Can you name one performance artist?
For that matter, why call Gingrich any kind of artist?
Artists are not swindlers.
They make a practice of trying to remind us all what sanity looks like.
