I want to announce a couple new hires we’ve just made to bolster our DC reporting staff.
We’ve hired Dylan Scott as a new staffer reporter working out of the DC office. Dylan joins us from Governing magazine. We’ve also hired Daniel Strauss who will also be signing on as a staff reporter working out of the DC office. Daniel is joining us from The Hill.
Look for their bylines soon and keep sending us (and soon them) those news tips to the tip email at the upper right.

The four appeared together last night on the local PBS in San Diego to discuss their experiences. Here’s the segment.
Four more women came forward today to publicly accuse San Diego Mayor Bob Filner of sexual harassment. They include “a retired Navy rear admiral, a dean at San Diego State University and the head of the city’s Ports Tenants Association.”
It now seems conceivable that Filner has at one time or another harassed most of the women in public life in the city of San Diego.
