Conservatives and liberals may disagree on politics and policy, but at the end of the day, we all like to kick back to the same TV shows, right?

Not quite. According to an Experian-Simmons survey, liberals — shockingly — love The Daily Show and shows like Glee and Modern Family. Other liberal favorites include: It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Treme and The Late Show with David Leterman. Conservatives prefer Leno. Other GOP favorites include: The Bachelor, The Biggest Loser and Wheel of Fortune.

In general, liberals enjoy comedies while conservatives prefer work-centered programs, Entertainment Weekly writes. Now, conservatives’ least favorite shows include The Jersey Shore (no argument there), The Daily Show and Colbert Report and Weeds (too easy).

We couldn’t help but notice most of these shows — favored or loathed by conservatives or liberals — are just not that great. Sure, there are Emmy-winners among them, and what media-savvy viewer doesn’t love David Simon? But The Late Show with Craig Ferguson? The Bachelor? We expected better, America. And so should you.
