BUZZING: Today in the Hive
From a TPM Prime member: “If the House can act so quickly and with resolve over concerns about Middle Eastern refugees, who already undergo a lengthy and detailed vetting process, then where is the bill out of the house proposing to screen and fingerprint check all people who purchase and sell weapons and ammunition in this country, whether at a store, fair, anywhere? That would be the most help and would best address terrorism concerns more than today’s action will. The terrorists are seeing exactly what they hoped for and are rejoicing tonight. A hasty knee-jerk response from America that serves no purpose but has most, not me, angry, scared to death and at one another’s throats. And all manner of misinformation and conflated rumors spreading at the speed of the internet.”
