TPM’s Tierney Sneed reported on an anti-gay marriage bill in South Carolina that compared the Supreme Court’s Obergefell decision to decisions okaying Japanese internment and forced sterilization. When asked by TPM where the language in the bill came from and whether an outside group helped write it, sponsor Rep. Mike Burns said he worked together with legislators in Tennessee, where a similar bill was introduced in September.

Why wouldn’t Kristol and the rest of the neocons shovel as much money as they have at him? It ain’t bribery, it’s an investment.”
