After pinpointing two individuals as the lead suspects in the Boston Marathon bombings, FBI Special Agent Richard DesLauriers said at a Thursday evening press conference that only the man referred to as “suspect two” was seen in video footage planting a device.
“The only one who was observed planting what we believe to be the device is suspect number two with the white cap,” DesLauriers said.
In the video footage, “suspect two” was seen dropping a bag in front of the Forum restaurant, near the site of the second explosion.
