Apple senior vice president of marketing Phil Schiller unveiled the company’s hotly anticipated new iPhone 5 in San Francisco on Wednesday. The device, which Schiller called “the most beautiful product we’ve ever made, bar none,” according to the blog Gdgt includes a longer screen, as previously speculated, at 4 inches (compared to the iPhone 4S’s 3.5 inch screen).

Made entirely of glass and aluminum, the new iPhone 5 is also 18 percent thinner than its predecessor at 7.6 millimeters, and weighing 112 grams, is 20 percent lighter.
