Democratic congressional candidate Tammy Duckworth, who is facing tea party-aligned freshman Republican Rep. Joe Walsh in Illinois, has recruited a prominent supporter to head up a fundraising event: Joe Walsh.
The Duckworth campaign announced that rock guitarist Joe Walsh, best known for his work as a member of the Eagles, is headlining a concert event for Duckworth on July 1. Ticket prices range from: $100 for general admission; $500 for reserved seating up front; $1,000 for a reception with Walsh; and $2,500 for a photo-op and meet and greet with Walsh.
The title of the event: “A Private Concert and Evening with The Real Joe Walsh.”
