South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley said that she would turn down an offer to be the GOP vice presidential nominee. “Thank you, but no,” she told ABC News. “I made a promise to the people of this state. And I think that promise matters. And I intend to keep it.”

“I don’t know — I mean life has surprised me constantly,” Haley said. “But that’s not anything I can imagine.”
