Barney Frank was asked on Tuesday why he didn’t seem to think Newt Gingrich had a shot at the nomination. “I was the kind of kid who always thought I wasn’t going to get what I wanted for Hannukah,” he replied.
He did acknowledge that Newt’s recent New Hampshire Union Leader endorsement surprised him.
“The distaste for Mitt Romney is so strong that it outweighs some of Gingrich’s problems,” he said.
