The new Fox News poll of the Nevada Senate race gives Republican Sharron Angle a three-point lead over Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
The numbers: Angle 49%, Reid 46%. The survey of likely voters has a ±3% margin of error. In the previous Fox poll from two weeks ago, Angle had a one-point edge of 46%-45%.
The poll also finds that voters view both candidates very unfavorably. Reid’s job approval rating is 42% with 56% unfavorable, and his personal favorable and unfavorable rating is 44%-55%. So what is keeping Reid competitive? Angle’s personal favorable rating is abysmal, too, at only 39%-53%.
The TPM Poll Average currently has Reid ahead by the narrow margin of 47.7%-46.0%.
