Hillary Clinton’s national lead over Donald Trump has tightened in the last week, according to a new NBC News-Survey Monkey weekly tracking poll out Tuesday.

In a two-way matchup, Clinton leads Trump 48 percent to 44 percent, a two-point drop since last week. That lead falls to two points in a four-way matchup, with the former secretary of state taking 42 percent of the vote and the real estate mogul taking 40 percent. Libertarian Gary Johnson held onto his 11 percent support, while the Green Party’s Jill Stein maintained 4 percent.

TPM’s PollTracker Average reflects a similar narrowing in national voter surveys, with Clinton taking 45.7 percent of the vote compared to 42.2 percent for Trump.

The survey was conducted online between Sept. 5-11 among 16,220 registered voters. The margin of error was 1 percent.
