Clinton Maintains Lead Over Trump In National Tracking Poll

Hillary Clinton held her six point lead over Donald Trump in the weekly national tracking poll released by NBC News and Survey Monkey on Tuesday morning.

Clinton leads Trump 48-42 in a head-to-head match up, unchanged from last week’s tracking poll.

When third party candidates were added to the question, Clinton leads Trump by four points, 41-37, with Libertarian Gary Johnson at 12 points and Green Party candidate Jill Stein at 4 points.

TPM’s PollTracker Average shows Clinton leading Trump 44.8 to 43.4.

NBC News/Survey Monkey surveyed 32,226 registered voters online Aug. 29-Sept. 4 with a margin of error plus or minus 1 percentage point.
