Democrat Michelle Nunn is holding onto a slim lead over Republican David Perdue in the Georgia Senate race, according to a new poll released Wednesday.

A Survey USA poll conducted for Atlanta TV station WXIA shows Nunn leading Perdue 46 percent to 44 percent, while Libertarian candidate Amanda Swafford polled at 4 percent.

Nunn’s lead over Perdue has narrowed slightly since last week, when she polled 48 percent to Perdue’s 45 percent among likely voters in a Survey USA poll. Prior to that poll, Survey USA had Perdue leading the race.

TPM’s PollTracker average shows Nunn leading Perdue 47.2 to 44.8.

  1. I can’t get excited about this race until Nunn gets to 50%. Otherwise she will lose in a run off.
