Republican Joni Ernst now leads Democrat Bruce Braley in the Iowa Senate race, according to a Des Moines Register poll released Sunday.
Among likely voters, 44 percent supported Ernst while just 38 percent said they would vote for Braley.
The Des Moines Register poll echoes a shift found in a Quinnipiac poll from mid-September. In September Quinnipiac poll, Ernst led Braley 50 percent to 44 percent among likely voters. In a June Quinnipiac poll, Braley was leading Ernst 44 percent to 40 percent among registered voters.
According to TPM’s Polltracker average, Ernst is leading Braley by just 1.1 points.
Selzer & Co. surveyed 546 likely voters Sept. 21-24 for the Des Moines Register with a margin of error plus or minus 4.2 percentage points.
Sarah Palin sans mukluks…
Just what D.C. needs, another Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Marsha Blackburn level dumb ass. No doubt Chuck Todd will be pimping her as the next ‘very serious person’.
Outlier. I’m from Iowa and was just there this past weekend. The race is definitely close. But no way Joni has has that big a lead.
How can anyone vote for this twit? She makes your average moron look like Einstein.
Come on midwest, you can disown the Bachmann stereotype. I know you want to.
