The photographs taken after a shooting Thursday at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Ore. showed the grief and raw emotions of those who were on campus following the incident.

The shooting left at least 13 dead and more than 20 injured, according to the state’s attorney general. The 20 year-old gunman was also dead after exchanging gun fire with police officers who responded to the scene, authorities said.
