President Donald Trump had a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit last year that is completely unrecorded by U.S. officials—because there were none there.

According to a Tuesday Financial Times report, Trump and Putin were joined by first lady Melania Trump and Putin’s translator but no customary note taker for Trump in Argentina last November.

The meeting, per a Russian official, lasted 15 minutes and included talk of the Syrian conflict.

As Vox points out, this means the administration has no records of any interactions between Trump and Putin over a two-year span, including the instance where Trump wrenched away a translator’s notes, instructing the official not to share the transcript with his staff.
