Special counsel Robert Mueller could drop his report on the Russia investigation as early as Wednesday, Vanity Fair reported.

According to sources close to President Trump, aides are bracing for a blow that will likely hit longtime political adviser Roger Stone and the President’s son, Donald Trump Jr., the hardest. Although it’s possible Mueller’s team could deliver his findings to the Justice Department this week — it’s been long predicted he would release his report around midterms — it’s more probable that Mueller will wait until the end of the month, according to Vanity Fair.

A former White House official told Vanity Fair that Trump’s advisers are most “worried” about Trump Jr.’s fate, given his role in the orchestration of the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with a Russian lawyer who promised dirt on Hillary Clinton.
