State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert, is being considered for the United Nations ambassador position, which will be left vacant by Nikki Haley when she departs at the end of the year, Politico reported.

Nauert, formerly of Fox News, is also a top candidate to replace White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders when she leaves, which could reportedly be by the end of the year.

The White House reportedly wants someone “telegenic,” in Politico’s words, to replace Haley and aides think Nauert does decent work promoting Trump’s foreign policy agenda in her current role, which also includes serving as the acting Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs.

The White House is interested in finding a woman to replace Haley. Options so far include Kelly Knight Craft, Jamie McCourt, and Ric Grenell, all current ambassadors.
