Contrary to recent rumors, Ivanka Trump will not be the new leader of the World Bank, according to the White House. But she will play a large role in selecting its new president.

According to a Monday New York Times report, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin personally asked Ivanka to assist in the process.

There is still reportedly some doubt as to whether she is sufficiently divested from her business interests to partake in U.S. economic decisions, as she still holds worldwide trademarks.
