In a befuddling Instagram Story post on Tuesday, the President’s eldest son attempted to explain why “walls work” by drawing a comparison between caged zoo animals and … immigrants?

“You know why you can enjoy a day at the zoo? Because walls work,” he said in an Instagram Story that has since disappeared.

While it seemed that Trump Jr. was attempting to draw a parallel between the proposed border wall at the U.S.-Mexico border and the cages that house zoo animals, a spokesperson for the first son told The Hill that Trump Jr. only meant to indicate “walls equal safety.”

  1. We’ll be safer when Don Jr and his dad are in cages.

  2. You’re even more stupid than your father, DJTJ. GFY.

  3. That’s right. Walls work both ways. They can keep you out or lock you in. Can’t wait for this one to get the view from the inside out.

  4. I had no idea that everyone named Trump was so emotionally damaged by the fact that NYC required Trump Tower’s lobby to be public property. It must cause them tremendous psychic trauma every time they have to enter or exit their wall-less home.

  5. He’s a useful model of what his father would be if he weren’t mentally ill and senile: proudly ignorant, really quite hateful, entitled, arrogant, and not that fucking bright.
