The estranged wife of George Zimmerman said Thursday that her husband hasn’t been himself since his acquittal in the fatal shooting of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin.
“I don’t know who George is anymore,” Shellie Zimmerman told Katie Couric, according to USA Today.
She said her husband has been a “pacing lion” since the murder trial in the summer.
George Zimmerman was charged with aggravated assault this week after an alleged domestic dispute with his girlfriend. Shellie Zimmerman accused him in September of smashing her iPad, but she declined to press charges. That alleged incident came mere days after she filed for divorce.
“He does seem like a ticking time bomb,” she told Couric.
