Larry Wilmore introduced us to a new dark horse presidential candidate on “The Nightly Show” on Thursday: Deez Nuts.
The third party candidate polled at 9 percent in North Carolina and 7 percent in Iowa and subsequently sent political journalists reeling.
“I believe you. Deez Nuts is officially in the race,” Wilmore said. “Or should I say Deez Nuts are in the race?”
Contributor Mike Yard even joined the campaign.
“Sometimes you gotta follow your heart and in this case, I gotta follow Deez Nuts,” Yard said.
That same poll, according to Wilmore, shows that presidential candidate Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has zero supporters.
“Lindsey Graham has literally no supporters. I didn’t even know that was a number,” Wilmore said. “There are two things in America that have more support in America than Lindsey Graham: ISIS and Deez Nuts.”
