Catherine Greig, the girlfriend of James “Whitey” Bulger who helped him avoid the feds for 16 years, agreed to plead guilty on Monday to conspiracy to harbor a fugitive, conspiracy to commit identity fraud and identity fraud, the Boston Globe first reported.
Federal prosecutors didn’t agree to make any recommendations for sentencing in Greig’s case but she will not have to testify against Bulger and they have not filed for forfeiture of her home.
The criminal superceeding information filed by Greig’s lawyers and federal prosecutors on Monday, obtained by TPM from the court filing system and embedded below, says that she used a variety of alias to rent an apartment, shop and pick up prescription medications for Bulger.
