The White House is seeking the public’s input on how it should approach enforcement of intellectual property going forward, as IP czar Victoria Espinel wrote in a blog post on Monday.

Espinel’s post doesn’t mention the buzzwords “Internet,” “cyber,” “SOPA,” “PIPA,” “ICE,” “Megaupload,” nor “Dajaz1,” but it’s fairly safe to say that the White House would prefer to avoid the controversy, and mass protests, that have followed those high-profile cases and other attempts by federal agencies and Congress to crack down on piracy and other forms of IP infringement online.

So, in a nutshell: If you didn’t like SOPA and PIPA, or if you did, head over here to comment on how you think the White House should be doing IP enforcement in the future. Just be sure to read what issues the White House is looking at first.
