Democratic National Committee chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) was met with boos from protesters in the audience when she took the stage Monday morning to address the Florida delegation.
Some in the crowd held signs supportive of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), while other held signs that simply read, “emails.” The crowd could be heard chanting, “shame!”
“Everybody settle down, please,” Wasserman Schultz said at one point. She tried to continue speaking, but the jeers continued.
The crowd quieted down when she left the room after she finished her speech.
Leaked internal emails posted online Friday by Wikileaks showed that DNC officials had potentially plotted against the Sanders campaign. Wasserman Schultz then announced Sunday that she would resign from her DNC post after the convention is over.
Wasserman Schultz is expected to gavel in the convention later in the day Monday.

Stay classy, Bernies.
Alright Democrats. Let’s try and act a bit classier than the RNC attendees.
Death to the straw-man!!!
Whoa…no chants of “LOCK HER UP, LOCK HER UP…?”
I’m surprised.
I’d be curious to know how many of the protesters were members of the Florida delegation and how many were some of the SWJs who arrived in Philadelphia to protest.
