Sen. Elizabeth Warren railed against the GOP during a campaign rally in Minnesota for Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) on Saturday.
“The game is rigged, and the Republicans rigged it,” she said during her speech at Carleton College, according to the Washington Post.
Warren told the crowd that she would fight against the banks that oppose her legislation that would allow students to refinance their student loans.
“We’re coming after them,” she said.
WOW! I hope Senator Warren is making campaign appearances in battleground states every day until the election.
Of course the GOP have rigged the system. They want to make absolutely positively that no one can actually live the American Dream. They want to return us to the point where we were living in a feudal state and can never actually get rich.
If someone wants to live the American Dream these days, the best way to do it is move to France or Germany.
Or Denmark, Sweden, or Finland.
man, i bet schumer hates her… between her ability to get media coverage and her continuing criticisms of wall street, you just know he has to be seething…
The difference between America and the countries being mentioned is that they have not moved toward becoming plutocracies as much as the United States has. Until there are limits placed on campaign fundraising and campaign spending, politicians of all political stripes will be influenced by the biggest donors.
