Seventy-two hours before they allegedly detonated a pair of bombs near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev worked out at a local gym, surveillance footage from the facility revealed.
Security cameras at the Wai Kru mixed martial arts center in Boston showed the brothers working out with a friend on the afternoon of April 12. The footage also showed the the three arriving at the gym. The manager of the gym told CNN that he noticed a change in Tamerlan’s appearance that day: the now-deceased bombing suspect was no longer sporting a bushy beard.
