Rep. Vance McAllister (R-LA) said Tuesday that “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson will attend President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address as his guest.

Robertson is the CEO of the family’s Duck Commander duck call business and the son of “Duck Dynasty” patriarch Phil Robertson, whose remarks about gays and blacks in a GQ interview caused a media firestorm and a brief suspension from the family’s reality show last month.

He also stumped for McAllister last year in his upset runoff campaign against Louisiana state Sen. Neil Riser (R).
