A delegate from Utah alleges Donald Trump supporters threatened her Monday night in a bathroom at the Republican National Convention because she was part of a push for a vote to change the convention rules and prevent Donald Trump from claiming the nomination.

At-large delegate Kera Birkeland told the Salt Lake Tribune that two other women cornered her and made death threats in a bathroom at Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena.

“They said: ‘You should die. They should pull the protection from the Utah delegation. You should all die,’ ” Birkeland told the Tribune.

Birkeland said the two women, who, she characterized as Trump supporters, called the Utah delegation “horrible” and “stupid.” She told the Tribune that the women didn’t touch her, but she felt “emotionally shaken.”

“I came out crying,” she told the newspaper.

Other Never Trump-ers have said they received threats from Trump supporters in the final months of the Republican primary season. Former Trump campaign adviser Roger Stone also had pledged to send Trump supporters to the hotel rooms of delegates who didn’t support Trump’s nomination.
