Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) on Thursday released a video apologizing for her past views opposing gay marriage and LGBT rights.
Her past comments resurfaced earlier in the week after she announced her plans to run for president.
Aloha. In my past, I said and believed things that were wrong, and worse, hurtful to people in the LGBTQ+ community and their loved ones. I’m deeply sorry for having said and believed them. https://t.co/BWlOBk9ZnN

Too late.
Nice apology , Now go away…
Is she going to do a video apologizing for meeting with Assad after he gassed his own people? Meeting with and saying nice things about mass-murder war criminals supported by the Russians is NOT usually something that helps you in a democratic primary. (sorry Ramsey Clark).
I liked her when she first came out,a fresh face, but Tulsi’s consistent series of very weird decisions puts her well outside of the views held in the democratic party. She consistently acts like she is missing more than few screws.
Kicking off your campaign with an apology video…not a great omen.
“Hi, my name is Tulsi, I’m running for President…and I’m sorry.”
Gay American here. I stopped having to accept the apologies of bigots in public office almost a decade ago.
