A fake tombstone that appears to have been made by someone protesting Donald Trump popped up over the weekend in the Republican presidential frontrunner’s hometown of New York City.
The tombstone, which local TV station WNBC reported was located in Central Park near the Tavern on the Green, featured a cross and was engraved “Donald J. Trump.” It also was marked with the GOP frontrunner’s birth year, 1946, but did not include a date of death.
And the phrase etched on the tombstone? “Make America Hate Again.”
No one has claimed responsibility for the tombstone so far, and the city’s Parks Department removed it by Sunday evening, according to WNBC.
Many took to social media to share pictures of the tombstone:

this kind of prank.
That’s epic.
Jeez Louise. No, it doesn’t. It says: “Made America Hate Again.”
An obvious fake, Trump has already erected his tomb-in-waiting.
