Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) might’ve failed in his presidential bid against Donald Trump, but he has accepted the businessman’s offer to speak at the Republican National Convention.

Cruz told reporters that he had a “positive and productive” meeting with Trump on Thursday morning.

“Donald asked me to speak at the Republican convention and I told him I’d be happy to do so,” Cruz said.

Cruz has so far dodged saying whether he’d endorsed Trump and when asked Thursday what else was talked about at the meeting, Cruz said “there was no discussion of any endorsement.”
