Donald Trump Jr. defended his father against his rival, Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) calling him the “PC police” by arguing that Trump Sr. was the “most un-pc” candidate running for the White House.
Cruz released an attack ad against Donald Trump, questioning the GOP frontrunner’s stance on allow transgender individuals to use the bathroom of their choosing.
Trump had said that he would let Caitlyn Jenner use the bathroom of her choosing, but gave a muddier answer later in the day. Cruz used that remark and called Trump the “PC police.”
Donald Trump Jr. told CNN “State of the Union” host to “give me a break” when he was asked about the ad.
“This is how desperate Ted Cruz is. He doesn’t have any support from anyone. My father’s taken on the PC police from day one,” Trump Jr. said. “It’s such a joke. If there’s one person that anyone who is an American — if you asked them — who is the most un-pc candidate running for office right now, it’s my father.”
umm…that’s really not a good endorsement, heading into a general election.
The Trump campaign really doesn’t seem to grasp just how different the electorate is in the General compared to the GOP primaries. Its going to be a painful transition.
I agree, he’s not politically correct. In fact, I’d go even further - he’s not correct at all. About anything.
