President-elect Donald Trump tweeted on Tuesday that he is “seriously considering” nominating retired neurosurgeon and top Trump surrogate Ben Carson as head of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
“He’s a greatly talented person who loves people!” Trump wrote in the tweet, which was sent from a Twitter web client rather than the Android device associated with his most unfiltered posts.

Ben Carson previously turned down an open offer to accept an official role in Trump’s incoming administration, according to a report published by The Hill last week.
“Dr. Carson feels he has no government experience, he’s never run a federal agency,” Carson ally Armstrong Williams told The Hill. “The last thing he would want to do was take a position that could cripple the presidency.”
Carson ran unsuccessfully for president in the 2016 GOP primary.
So with all of Trump’s contacts in real estate he decides on Dr. Carson because…something that the good doctor has that we haven’t seen in other candidates for cabinet positions. I just can’t put my finger on what it could be.
Because an idiot savant brain surgeon obviously has so much specialized knowledge about housing and urban development.
Let’s be real. Trump and his cronies have no idea what HUD does…see “urban” and automatically assume all HUD does is serve poor, inner-city black people and find the black surrogate. Trump’s Razor at it’s finest.
On the other hand, hard to see how any appointment could “cripple” this Presidency.
He has to give one of his house negroes a seat in the cabinet, and it’s either Carson or Omarosa.
