Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Tuesday evening during a campaign stop in South Carolina that he can predict acts of terrorism.

Trump claimed to have predicted the rise of Osama bin Laden and terrorism in general, according to NBC News.

“The other thing I predicted is terrorism,” he said, according to NBC. “A friend of mine called me and said ‘Forget that, you’re the first guy that really predicted terrorism.'”

The real estate mogul said he wrote of a terrorist attack to come in his 2000 book, “The America We Deserve.” According to BuzzFeed News, he wrote: “I really am convinced we’re in danger of the sort of terrorist attacks that will make the bombing of the Trade Center look like kids playing with firecrackers.”

Since the book was written before 9/11, Trump was likely referring to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
