After former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney on Wednesday announced that he would deliver a speech on the 2016 race on Thursday, Donald Trump quickly went after Romney as a “failed candidate.”
Romney will reportedly call Trump a “phony” and a “fraud” during his Thursday speech. The Republican presidential frontrunner published a series of tweets bashing Romney on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Failed Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney is having a news conference tomorrow to criticize me. (1/2)

Just another desperate move by the man who should have easily beaten Barrack Obama. (2/2)

Looks like two-time failed candidate Mitt Romney is going to be telling Republicans how to get elected. Not a good messenger!

I am the only one who can beat Hillary Clinton. I am not a Mitt Romney, who doesn’t know how to win. Hillary wants no part of “Trump”

Why did Mitt Romney BEG me for my endorsement four years ago?

Trump also published a video to Facebook arguing that Romney is not conservative, highlighting past comments made by Romney in favor of “amnesty” and universal health coverage.
During an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Thursday morning, Trump reiterated that Romney’s presidential campaign was a “catastrophe.”
What a little scaredy-trump.
I read an article the other day about how Trump’s tactics are an example of a planning concept called the OODA loop—“observe, orient, decide, and act.” The idea is to throw maneuvers at your opponents quickly enough that they’re still reacting to the last one when you launch the next. The thing is, I just can’t believe these crude, stupid jibes actually work. But I guess a reality-show clown knows his audience best. Jackass, the Kardashians, Jersey Shore—I’m beginning to understand the country I live in. Shaking my head…
Romney’s upcoming speech will only add to his already big inventory of gaffes. He cannot restrain his need to condescend.
Yep… saw this nonsense coming a mile away. As soon as Rmoney announced he was gonna do this speech, it was only a matter of time before the Minister of Invective re-directed his laser toward Mitt.
Becoming too predictable, Trump. Becoming too predictable.
“Total loser!”
