Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump continued to complain Tuesday about the Colorado delegates going to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) when he said that the Republican National Committee should be “ashamed of themselves.”

Trump complained about the GOP rules when it was announced that Cruz would win all of Colorado’s 34 delegates following the state’s Republican Convention.

“Our Republican system is absolutely rigged. It’s a phony deal. This is a dirty trick. And I’ll tell you what — the RNC, the Republican National Committee, they should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this kind of crap to happen,” Trump said at a rally in Rome, New York. “I can tell you that. They should be ashamed of themselves.”

Sean Spicer, an RNC spokesman, said earlier in the day that nothing was rigged and suggested Trump should be running a campaign that understood the rules.

“Running for office entails putting together a campaign that understands the process. There’s nothing rigged,” Spicer said.
