Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Monday told a town hall attendee that he had no qualms about telling the children of Syrian refugees that they can’t come to the United States.

A man at the campaign event in Salem, New Hampshire asked Trump if he could look the children in their faces and tell them they wouldn’t be able to come to America.

“I can look at their faces and say you can’t come,” Trump replied. “We don’t know where their parents come from. They have no documentation.”

Trump has previously said that he thinks accepting Syrian refugees into the U.S. poses security risks. He also has called for a ban on Muslims entering the country.
