During a rally in Manchester, New Hampshire, Donald Trump fielded a question from a member of the audience about replacing TSA employees wearing “Hibby-Jobbies” with military veterans.
“Why aren’t we putting our retirees, our military retirees on that border or in TSA, get rid of all these ‘hibby-jobbies’ they wear at TSA — I’ve seen them myself?” a woman identified by CBS News as Cathy Chevalier, asked, likely referring to hijabs.
“Okay,” Trump responded. “We are looking at that, and we are looking at that, we’re looking at a lot of things.”
He did not make it clear whether he is looking into hiring military retirees or looking at TSA agents who wear hijabs.

Well, I learned a new term just now. I swear, why these ugly-hearted people really believe it’s okay to say these things out loud … and very likely videotaped and recorded for all to see, is beyond my comprehension. Any sane candidate would have used this as an opportunity, comport themselves with some dignity, manners and used it as a teaching opportunity, gently remind this lady we are a nation of many different cultures and we value of strength in diversity and numbers. Also remind her these TSA employees go through rigorous background checks and training. But … this was Donald J. Trump we’re talking about, so.

Trump missed his chance at a McCain moment, where he rises above the sludge of his most odious supporters. Imagine that.
This woman will deserve every second of ridicule and harassment directed to her from this ignorant and smart-ass statement. One can only imagine her feelings and beliefs regarding anything non-white or non-Christian.
