Donald Trump addressed the barrage of allegations leveled against him by women who say that he groped and kissed them without their consent during the third presidential debate, saying that he didn’t even apologize to his wife because the accusations were all “totally false.”
“Why would so many different women from so many different circumstances over so many different years, why would they all in this last couple of weeks make up—you deny this—why would they all make up these stories?” moderator Chris Wallace asked.
“Those stories have been largely debunked,” Trump claimed, saying that he didn’t know the women involved but suspected the Clinton campaign of orchestrating their coming forward.
“I would say the only way, because those stories are all totally false,” Trump added. “And I didn’t even apologize to my wife, who’s sitting right here, because I didn’t do anything.”
In an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Monday night, Melania Trump said that her husband had apologized to her for comments he made in a leaked video from 2005 in which he bragged about kissing and grabbing women “by the pussy.”
Trump’s comments in the debate were apparently in reference to those other allegations that have been leveled against him since by multiple women who have come forward with stories of being groped and kissed by Trump, allegations which span four decades, since that he denied doing what he’d talked about in that leaked recording in the second presidential debate.

So he didn’t apologize for WHAT HE ACTUALLY SAID because he had nothing to apologize for. Got it.
So even Fox got it wrong?
“Those words, they were offensive to me and they were inappropriate,” Melania Trump said. “And he apologized to me. And I expect – I accept his apology. And we are moving on.”

So the scriptwriters handed Melania the proper phrases to repeat, and those included that he apologized to her. But in a loose moment, Trump, insists in front of tens of millions of people on live TV that he DIDN’T apologize to her. That actually sounds a lot more like him. Anything he does is right. He has nothing to apologize for.
What a pig.
Chris Wallace, in ending the debate, said he wanted to conclude on a positive note giving Clinton and Trump a one minute opportunity for a closing statement. Trump chose to go grotesquely negative, instead of positive, forgoing an chance to show Presidential temperament and vision. He failed miserably.
