Donald Trump on Monday said that he may release his medical records in an interview with ABC News, but the Republican presidential candidate did not elaborate further.
Trump last week challenged Clinton in a tweet to release her medical records, and he told ABC News on Monday that if Clinton releases her records, he will as well.
“Why not go first?” ABC’s David Muir then asked.
“I might do that, I might do that,” Trump answered. “In fact, now that you ask, I think I will do that.”
“I’d love to give full reports,” he added. “I’ve given a letter from a doctor — he’s actually a great doctor, but that’s OK — but he gave a very strong letter.”
Trump’s doctor, Harold Bornstein, wrote a letter declaring that Trump would be “the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.” Bornstein recently revealed that he wrote the letter in a rush.
That sounds like a “not gonna happen” to me.
“I might do that, I might do that,” Trump answered. “In fact, now that you ask, I think I will do that.”
The mental records or the physical records?
Trump: I will release my medical records right after the release of my Tax Returns. Let the audit finish.
