Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Wednesday he gave out the personal cell phone number of rival candidate Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) during a speech a day earlier “for fun.”

In a morning appearance on the Fox News show “Fox & Friends,” Trump said the doxxing was in response to “everybody calling me names.”

“I did it for fun,” Trump said. “Everybody had a good time. We had a beyond packed house. The place was amazing.”

Trump, echoing his earlier claim that fellow Republicans are attacking him, said he didn’t regret releasing the number.

“I don’t regret it at all. He calls me name, you have to fight back,” Trump said. “I want to be nice. I’m a nice person. Everybody is calling me names, I guess, since I went to number one in the polls.”

The stunt led to numerous reporters calling the phone number on Tuesday.

“When it comes to the Donald, nothing surprises me anymore,” Graham told Politico on Tuesday. “It’s just too bad, really.”
