Donald Trump on Wednesday accused the Democratic National Committee of faking a hack by the Russian government in an attempt to distract from news about Hillary Clinton.

“We believe it was the DNC that did the ‘hacking’ as a way to distract from the many issues facing their deeply flawed candidate and failed party leader,” Trump said in a Wednesday statement obtained by Politico. “Too bad the DNC doesn’t hack Crooked Hillary’s, 33,000 missing emails.”

“This is all information that has been out there for many years” he added. “Much of it false and/or entirely inaccurate.”

The Washington Post reported on Tuesday that Russian hackers had gained access to the DNC’s opposition research on Donald Trump. The hackers also reportedly targeted the campaigns of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

On Wednesday, Gawker received the alleged DNC document with opposition research on Trump from a hacker who calls himself “Guccifer 2.0.” The hacker claimed that he also gained access to other information, including donor registries and financial reports.

The document obtained by Gawker includes narratives for attacking and undermining Trump, as well as pages of information about Trump’s past statements and views on a variety of issues.

The document was also sent to The Smoking Gun.

  1. Every remark, every bit of old muck, every piece of truth just feeds the Trumpbeast craziness a little more.
By November, I expect an explosion of Mr Creosote proportions. If he lasts that long.

Between attacking American judges for their Mexican-American heritage, attacking Muslims everywhere, insinuating that the President of the United States is secretly in league with terrorists, and gloating over “being proved right” by the mass murder of 49 American citizens, I think Deadbeat Donald is providing more distraction than the Clinton campaign could possibly desire, although I’m sure they enjoy the negative publicity Combover Caligula is creating for himself.

  4. Well Donald , We would certainly like to hear more about this.
Please consult your usually reliable sources World Net Daily, Alex Jones and Breibart.
The American public is clamoring to know about these nefarious plots, as a matter of fact as the chosen candidate of those esteemed publications , I think you should mention them on a daily basis until the election in addition to all that dirt they have on Hillary and her evil supporter Barack Hussein Obama.
It will certainly boost your standing with the base.
It’s a recipe for success, and we know you are a winner

P.S. Just ignore all that chatter from the so called establishment , what do they know ?

  5. So, while every Republican is trying to spin this as “look at Clinton and her emails, you can’t trust Democrats to be responsible with your information”, Trump is spinning it as a masterful political move to expose dirt on him. Again, it’s all about him. On All In (I think, or Hardball), the GOP talking heads said Trump is determined to make every news cycle about himself, good or bad. He thinks that’s how you win an election. He thinks it’s imperative that he stays THE topic of conversation. His advisors and other Republicans are trying to convince him otherwise but he’s not having any of it. He won the primary that way and believes he can win the general that way as well. I truly believe Trump doesn’t understand that the GOP base isn’t the entire electorate. That’s the only way to explain this.
