Donald Trump pushed back on reports that planning for this month’s Republican National Convention had been haphazard by promising on Twitter Saturday that the speaking spots had been “totally filled” and the campaign would announce them next week. Politico previously reported that many top Republicans were resisting even attending the confab in Cleveland, let alone speaking at it.

Trump also responded to a New York Times report that said that the presumptive GOP nominee was, until recently, unaware where the event was even being held.
Just read in the failing @nytimes that I was not aware “the event had to be held in Cleveland” – a total lie. These people are sick!
