Donald Trump said at a Tuesday rally that Bill Clinton must have “gone through hell last night” because he criticized an aspect of the Affordable Care Act in a Monday speech.
“I’ll bet he went through hell last night,” Trump told a crowd in Prescott Valley, Arizona. “Can you imagine? Can you imagine? Can you imagine what he went through after making that statement?”
As the crowd cheered, Trump continued: “He went through hell. But you know, honestly, there have been many nights when he’s gone through hell with Hillary, in all fairness.”
Speaking at a campaign rally for his wife Hillary Clinton on Monday night, the former President criticized a provision of Obamacare that affects health care consumers who make too much to qualify for subsidies and thus must foot the bill for increasing premiums themselves, calling it “the craziest thing in the world.”
Republicans were quick to hold up those comments as proof that Democrats are turning on Obama’s signature healthcare reform law.
What.An.Asshole.
I can’t wait for Hillary to win so that this endangered human-sized orange retrograde orangutan can skulk off into ignominious oblivion.
Projection!!
Some people have the maturity and ego-strength for back and forth, for disagreement.
Others do not. I see these comments as a projection of Donald’s oh-so-fragile ego. He could not stand it if a spouse talked policy with him and disagreed. Much worse for shades of nuance to be made in public.
It’s a statement of what kind of hell at home it would be for him, because he cannot be wrong, ever. If he were, it would be the worst of the worst.
P.S. Notice the other POV item. The man is the one who is wronged, injured. Have some sympathy for the man in this situation. It’s a man’s world. The other people in the world, well… they’re lower beings. Appendages. Nothings.
Better yet, he and his empire (of cards) will implode leaving a crater so deep there will be magma bubbling up.
I see we’re headed into the Hillary is a ball buster phase of HO’s campaign.
Proceed, HO. Please.
Republicans are such idiots. Democrats aren’t running away from the ACA, they want to improve upon it. It’s the Republicans that are too scared to do so…afraid that the public will love it and remember who gave it to them.
