Donald Trump is reportedly replacing his ban on Muslims and proposing a ban on people from countries that have known links to terrorism.

Trump proposed in December a total ban on all Muslims from entering the United States. CNN reporter Jim Acosta, citing unnamed sources, reported Monday that Trump was instead calling for a ban on people from “countries with known terrorism links.”

Trump suggested he was pivoting from his ban on Muslims over the weekend when he said Saturday that he would “limit specific terrorist countries and we know who those terrorist countries are.”

Hope Hicks, Trump’s campaign spokeswoman said that he had revised his ban on Muslims in a recent policy speech, but, fact checkers determined that was untrue.
